Happy I-Friday!
The letter I has played a big part in my streetnames cards ever since a good friend had a little girl last year and named her Isla. A quick check on Google Maps, I discovered that not only was there an Isla Road in Perth, but also a whole host of other street names!
So off we set, Mr O and I, up t'road for an hour drive to the lovely bright lights of Perth. After depositing him at the pub with a friend to watch the football, I had a very productive few hours walking around and around (and getting lost) and around until I'd snapped up no less than NINE new names - Angus Court, Malcolm Court, Lewis Place, Rae Place, James Street, Victoria Street, Scott Street, Stuart Avenue and of course, Isla Road. What a haul! AND I walked 6 miles that day - go me!
Here's my letter I Folksy finds this week - an Imaginative, Innovative and Incredible bunch!:
